
A Point of Sale or POS Software can help your business in many ways, but the one way that most people are not taking advantage of is using it to help you with inventory.When you look at your business without POS Software, you can see how much time goes into the inventory part of the business, and if you look deeper you'll also see that that's a place where money can be made or lost.
A simple example, customer comes into your store looking for item A and you don't have it. What’s the big deal? Because it may not be the first time that's happened and they will get it from another store and every time someone else needs item ‘A’, they will be told to buy it at that other store, not yours. This can all be done manually as well, but I doubt you even have the time to compute how long that's going to take.
